"Davey, Izzy, Tony and Sophie inherit a large square plot of land. They each build a home at a corner of the square. Izzy builds her home due north of Davey. Sophie builders her home due east of Izzy. Tony builds his due south of Sophie. Davey sets out on a bike ride along the only track, which runs due west from his house.
The track has several straight roads from the right that go directly to Izzy's house. He chooses the one that he reaches after cycling 24km from his house. He visits Izzy and then carries on travelling in the same direction until he sees another track going right at 90 deg to his current direction going directly to Sophie's house. He visits Sophie then carries on in the same direction until he sees a track going due west to Tony's house. He cycles 6km along the track to visit Tony."
