I'm putting together a newspaper article on the issue of exams. As the A-level and GCSE results come out there is the age old argument as to whether exams are getting easier and if students are specifically taught just to pass exams.
Just wondered whether this is what students think? Do you also think you are put under too much pressure through school starting with SATS exams at an early age?
I'd like to hear anyones thoughts on the exam system:)

I think people study hard for their exams and some recognition should be made, and perhaps a better time other than the day of their results to say "how it is worthless"

Judgin by my experience, the answer is a definite NO. It seems they are getting easier beacuase education has changed so much and improved so much however exams are not getting easier at all. It is inevitable that Past Papers have different style questions and tricks, however the mistakes of the past have been learned and newer students are able to recognise that they can getter grades by doing 'easier' revision techniques: such as tonnes of past paper revision.
